An Easy and Classic White Black and Orange Tiered Tray
Let’s create an easy and classic white black and orange tiered tray that you’ll want in your home for Halloween and the fall season.
I always start my tiered trays by gathering what fits the theme, the colors or both. I gathered everything in my stash that was white, black and orange. There wasn’t much so I headed to the Dollar (25 cent) Store to get small orange pumpkins, orange and black berry picks, and black miniature ornaments.
Ideas For A White Black and Orange Tiered Tray
- Vintage Flash Cards and Ephemera – I used a vintage flash card from the Fall and Autumn Fun set, a black and white bingo card, and two more flash cards
- Use flower frogs or these small stands to hold your ephemera and flash cards
- Black and White Wood Bead Garland
- Tiny orange pumpkins from the dollhouse section of Hobby Lobby. I love to look for small things for tiered trays in this section!
- Vintage pieces like a can of Johnson’s Baby Powder (it’s orange!) and a glass beaker that I’ve used before on this table. Just shows how versatile a beaker can be!

Flash Card Combos You Need For Halloween and Fall

- Play (Shore set) + Leaves (Fall Set) = Play {in the} Leaves
Building Your Classic Halloween White Black And Orange Tiered Tray
To fill the beaker I removed the tops of the miniature black ornaments from the Dollar (25 cents) Store. You could also purchase black bead vase filler.
I removed the tops of the ornaments then I noticed –
They looked like tiny cannonballs – which led me down a merry trail of ooh I could use these for something pirate themed
But I digress …
So remove the tops of your ornaments by simply pulling off the gold cap.
Look Dad, I am a hand model like you!
The small cauldron is “filled” with the small pumpkins from the dollhouse section. I say filled but really I stuffed the cauldron full of packaging and placed the tiny pumpkins on top.
Top Tier of This Easy and Classic White Black and Orange Tiered Tray
This tray held taller items. The beaker filled with ornaments aka cannon balls :), a bingo card, cauldrons I bought at St. Patrick’s day on clearance because I shop year round for holiday stuff, a vintage flash card and pumpkins.
The Middle Tier of This Easy Tiered Tray For The Fall
A vintage can of baby powder, berry picks and wood bead garland fill this tray with the white black and orange color scheme.
Last but not Least, The Bottom Tier of This Tiered Tray For Halloween
A white black and orange tea towel smushed (fancy technical term) sits underneath this vintage inspired flash card, berry picks and more cauldrons.
