A St. Patrick’s Day Tiered Tray With Lucky Vintage Style
Do you decorate for St. Patrick’s Day? I don’t have a lot of holiday themed décor so I mix those with vintage, thrifted pieces in St. Patty’s Day colors. I want to show you how I do this to create a St. Patrick’s Day tiered tray with lucky vintage style. These filler ideas and using green, white and gold everyday pieces plus some holiday themed items can be used not only in your tiered trays but in all of your St. Patrick’s Day vignettes.
What Can I Use To Decorate For A St. Patrick’s Day Tiered Tray
Use vintage thrifted and vintage finds to decorate our St. Patrick’s Day tiered tray. Here are a few ideas:
- Green patterned antique dishes
- Small Green inkwells
- Clover cookie cutters
- Vintage green books
- Green bingo cards
- Antique postcards and greeting cards
- Green flower frogs
- Shop your home for green décor
- Gold or brass pieces
- Ceramic figurines of Irish lads and lassies
A St. Patrick’s Day Tiered Tray Using Thrifted, Vintage Finds
This tiered tray I created for St. Patrick’s Day definitely has vintage farmhouse touches. I included nostalgic pieces like two Holly Hobbie pieces that I found thrifting. These take me all the way back to childhood – who else had the Holly Hobbie room, lunchbox, bike, etc?!
The rest of the tiered tray is filled with vintage pieces. These are antique green books, flower frogs, milk glass, and a vintage St. Patrick’s Day greeting card. I added wooden shamrocks and a wood bead garland in gold.
A St. Patrick’s Day Tiered Tray With Lucky Vintage Style
This tiered tray has some lucky vintage style in its trays. I started with a little leprechaun doll that I found in a local thrift shop, shamrocks and vintage St.Patrick’s Day ephemera.
I added a shamrock plate, wood bead garland from this DIY, and an old book because books are great for all of your decorating!
Mixing holiday themed décor with vintage, thrifted pieces in St. Patty’s Day colors creates the perfect tiered tray for the luckiest holiday there is!
