The Best Ideas To Decorate A Pencil Christmas Tree
A small space calls for slim Christmas trees. This holiday season add skinny Christmas trees to your home instead of traditional Christmas trees. With all the different ways to decorate them you’ll fall in love with slim pencil trees. Let me share with you the best ideas to decorate a pencil Christmas tree that I have used in my home.
A Slim Pencil Christmas Tree Is Perfect For These Places
If you’re looking for a slim tree that doesn’t take up too much space, buying a pencil tree for the Christmas season would be a great idea. For those living in a small apartment, smaller homes like my cottage in the city, or who live in a tiny home this type of artificial tree would be perfect.
Also if you’re one of those people who spread festive cheer from here to there and have artificial Christmas trees in every room a skinny tree would be a great fit. Tuck one in the corner of the dining room or decorate the master bedroom for Christmas. Smaller rooms like the children’s bedrooms would be fun, each child could decorate their own with their color scheme. In the living room, instead of one big Christmas tree, decorate with a forest of smaller trees if the space allows. In smaller areas a pencil tree will not crowd the room.

The Best Ideas To Decorate A Farmhouse Pencil Christmas Tree
Last year I wanted to give my guest bedroom some holiday cheer. A regular-sized tree definitely wouldn’t fit in the narrow space between a dresser and side table. I purchased the Christmas tree decorations for this farmhouse tree look on a budget while thrifting.
First thing I did when decorating was to add wire ribbons throughout. The larger ornaments in silver and red were nestled in the branches of the slender tree. A burlap and red striped tree skirt was a great addition to place vintage looking “Christmas gifts” under the tree. I added a chalkboard, small sleds and old teddy bears. Assorted black, red and white ornaments were the finishing touches.
The Best Ideas To Decorate A Pencil Christmas Tree In Small Rooms
This year, adding a little Merry Christmas to the guest room was easy with this gorgeous tree that was gifted to me from the King of Christmas. It is a pre-lit Christmas tree and the best part is with its remote or the foot button you can switch from white to colored and blinking to twinkling. During this time of year it’s nice to not make any more decisions – even if it’s just the lights!
The tree is tucked into a corner leaving enough room to walk around the bed. I placed a vintage tree collar over its stand by removing the water pan from the collar. The perfect shade of blue ribbon couldn’t be found so I created my own by using fabric ripped into one inch wide strips. I used red, white, black and blue ornaments.
A white Christmas tree, a blue tree, a flocked tree, a regular tree, narrow Christmas trees or a big tree. The King of Christmas has them all! The only thing you cannot get is a real tree, only a faux tree!

The Best Ideas To Decorate A Pink And Gold Christmas Tree
The main tree in my home is a gorgeous tree made of rose gold and silver tinsel. It is by far my favorite Christmas tree (don’t tell the other trees!). Although it is not your traditional Christmas tree it was exactly what Amory and I wanted for our own tree when we started over.
We moved into our new home a few years ago now. Before moving into this home and after leaving my marriage, Amory, Pricilla and I stayed with friends, my car and then more friends. We really wanted a safe place to land and while we were moving around and trying to find that safe place we would dream of what our lives would be like.
Dream of how we would decorate (lots of blue and pink), the food we would make in our own kitchen and Christmas. And we knew we wanted a pink Christmas tree! But that was not in our budget when starting over and building a new life. Until a trip to the Goodwill to drop off the things the last homeowner left behind. And there she was – the most perfect pencil Christmas tree in all of her shining glory. I grabbed that $20 tree and ran home!
This beautiful Christmas tree is the perfect size for our living room. We decorate it with special ornaments from our travels, copper and gold ornaments, cream colored ornaments, sage green ribbon and lamb’s ear picks.
The Best Ideas To Decorate A Mantel With Not One Pencil Christmas Tree But Two
I created a winter wonderland with the King of Christmas Queen Flock set. It comes with two small Christmas trees, a wreath and garland. Absolutely perfect to add an elegant look to your home.
I added rustic Christmas decorations to my mantel and created a snowy (although in Texas it’s always faux snow!) ski resort vibe around my fireplace. Each three foot flocked pencil Christmas tree was placed in a different vessel, one in an ice cream bucket and the other in a footed silver bowl. Christmas decor like white poinsettias and snowflakes were nestled into the lighted garland in the set. The wreath of the collection is hung on a backdrop of Christmas music sheets.
I love this collection

Before You Fly Away To Decorate A Pencil Christmas Tree
I hope this gave you inspiration to use a slim, narrow pencil tree instead of a full-sized Christmas tree. Make narrow Christmas trees the traditional trees in your home, place one in every one room and decorate each with unique looks.
