Printable Space Valentine Cards And An Easy DIY For Kids
I am so excited to share these space-themed valentine cards with all of you! They are designed with a rocket ship or two, the solar system, an astronaut and an alien and his spaceship. These are beautiful watercolor images, not so much silly outer space, so even if you have older girls and boys who are into all things space these will be perfect! Let’s get to it and see the printable space Valentine cards and an easy DIY for kids to do for their classroom valentines.
Space Themed Printable Valentine Cards
Our little cottage in the city sits in the shadow of (in my opinion) the best space museum in the United States – The Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center (another space center you might be familiar with is The Kennedy Space Center). And because of my location with a rocket and longhorns in its shadow practically in my front yard, space travel is always fascinating. So when it came time to create printable Valentine’s Day cards it was an easy yes for me to create space theme valentines.
The printable valentines are delivered in a pdf file straight to your inbox to print as many color copies on card stock as you need using your home printer or a copy shop. The printable cards come in six different designs as tags, cards and bag toppers.
The first page, second page and third page of the pdf download has tags and cards and the last pages are the bag toppers. These bag toppers are sized perfectly for a snack or sandwich bag to give space themed valentine’s day goodies in.

Cards, Tags and Bag Toppers
The space valentines printable cards, tags and bag toppers have six beautiful watercolor designs of a rocket ship, planets, an astronaut and more. Perfect for all girls and boys who are into all things space!
The Easiest Way To Go From Printable Files To Adorable Valentine’s Cards
After receiving the digital file of printable space valentines, print on white cardstock using a color printer or sending to a print shop. Cut out the valentines with a paper cutter and/or scissors.
If you want your Valentines Day treats to be tagged, a hole punch is needed for the hole at the top of the tag. If you are assembling your gifts in snack or sandwich bags, a stapler is needed to attach toppers to the bags.

Directions For Out Of This World Valentine Hot Chocolate Mix
Step 1
First thing, gather your cocoa ingredients for hot chocolate mix
- 1 – 1/2 cups cocoa powder
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Combine all of the ingredients in a mixing bowl and whisk together until completely combined.
Step 2
Layer your Out Of This World Valentine Hot Chocolate Mix into the jar. Use a mason jar funnel to make it easy (and prevent spilling like we did) to add the hot chocolate mix, star sprinkles, and then marshmallows.
Step 3
Print the spaced themed printable valentine tags. Cut out the tags using a paper trimmer or scissors. Punch a hole in the top of the tag. Write out the child’s name on tags and write out or print labels with directions on the back of the tags.
Directions – Add two tablespoons of cocoa mix to 8 ounces of warmed milk. Stir until no clumps are left. Top with star sprinkles and marshmallows for a cup of hot chocolate that is out of his world.
Step 4
Cut your twine with enough length to wrap it around the rim of the jar several times. Stick one end of the ribbon through the hole in the tag and tie into a bow.
