I tend to listen to my worship music at level where the neighbors can praise God too. I am nice like that. Who knows they might want to listen to these Christian songs on repeat too?!

This is the song I want for my funeral and I want to hold a fork in my right hand too. That’s a little bit cuckoo, amiright? Did your grandma ever say hold on to your fork after supper and you knew something delicious and sweet was coming? The fork is to tell everyone that the best is yet to come.

Beautiful Testimony in a Beautiful Christian Song

It’s called a testimony because there is a test that God brings us through. I know that God has laid it on my heart to tell my testimony and help other women that have been or are going through the same trials I faced.

My testimony is (in simple terms) begging Jesus day in and day out to help me do the right things so my then husband would like me that day. Simply, I just wanted him to like me. In a small quiet way God started whispering let go and let Me have him. But it took me two years to trust the fact that God would provide if I did leave, that I could not get him to change and leave the abusive situation I was in.

God has done a work in me since then to see my worth, to see my beauty, my humor and the purpose I have on this great big blue and green ball He created.

More important then all of those parts in my testimony I want my everyone to know that no one has cared for me like Jesus. He has been my strength when I had none, my steps when I could not move toward another decision and my peace in this chaos I wouldn’t trade for anything.
