The Best Ways To Sell Ephemera In Your Vintage Booth
Are you wanting to add items to your booth for crafting and mixed media? This post shares the best ways to sell ephemera in your vintage booth. I have set up a “Fluff and Stuff” section in my booth and I want to share how I am selling vintage trims, buttons, bingo cards, flashcards, postcards and patterns. Plus I have set up two shelves selling scrabble tiles and I am sharing that whole system with you including free printables.
The Best Ways To Sell Vintage Sewing Supplies In Your Vintage Booth
Vintage Trims
I used wood tongue depressors and wound the vintage trims around them leaving room at the top to write a price on it.
Vintage Buttons
For the buttons I chose to sell them in two different ways. Buttons on the original card stayed on the card! The button cards are filled with pretty details and can be used in mixed media projects.
For loose buttons I separated by color and used these old spice jars
And filled them with buttons by color and finish.
Old patterns are sold for the images on the packages, not really the pattern pieces. I don’t know if all the pieces are there, to be honest. Which I indicate on a tag.
Thread spools were displayed on a vintage spool display and priced individually.

I included math flash cards, bingo cards, postcards, and library checkout cards in my “Fluff and Stuff” section.
The postcards I included were not very old and reproductions. I purchased several postcard books at a garage sale for 25 cents each.
I took these out of the book and put them in one section of my display shelves.
The math flashcards, bingo cards and library checkout cards were priced individually and placed in the wood wall shelf on the table.
Ephemera Kits
I made up some kits of different types of ephemera and vintage sewing supplies. In the first kit I included hymnal paper, old photos, trim and buttons.
In the second kit I included fabric pieces, trims, and buttons.

The Best Ways To Sell Scrabble Tiles In Your Vintage Booth
I started my scrabble tile section with two small wall cabinets that I painted with Dixie Belle Mineral Paint in Bay Breeze.
Using clear glass punch cups I collected, they were each labeled with letters and numbers that could be found in the cup. I stamped letters on cardstock and attached the tags to the cups with twine.
The scrabble boards (I don’t know what they are actually called) are located in a sewing machine drawer on a shelf below the scrabble tiles.
Supplies You’ll Need
The below are affiliate links which means I make a small commission at no cost to you if you click the link and make a purchase.
In order to sell these in the best and easiest way I included bags and the small tags to take to the cash register.
The sign, included in the free printable, is on display to give easy to follow instructions to your customers.
