A Fall And Christmas Vintage Booth Reset You’ll Love

/

I want to share a fall and Christmas vintage booth reset you’ll love because I love the way everything turned out! The antique mall that I am currently in is a little over an hour from my home. Adding to that is the mall’s rules state that I cannot do any work on the booth on the weekends. This means I only do a major update once a month when I take a Thursday off of work. And this one was a major reset for fall and Christmas. I flip flopped furniture, added things and removed a few summer and spring things.

This is my booth (at the very beginning of its life). I wanted to give you a look at the

Must have: Booth Lighting!

To create the light fixture in the booth I used this light kit, thrifted lampshades, and zip ties. I hung the four lights from the drop ceiling in a cluster with these hooks.

Start To The Fall And Christmas Vintage Booth Reset

My booth is narrow and I was encouraged to set up in a bowling alley configuration by the owner. In other words all the pieces lined up along the outer wall. In this reset I changed it up a bit.

  • I flipped two pieces of furniture in order to create more wall space
  • angled a piece and added a bookcase to the back to create an endcap
  • went up in my displays to be able to add more large pieces.

I flipped a sofa table and a desk with a hutch to create more wall space for shelves. In my booth the walls are created by antique doors . On this side where the sofa table originally sat there was not a door behind it.

By moving the desk and hutch to this spot I created a wall of shelves to display fall vignettes on.

On the sofa table I was able to display an antique dresser mirror where there was a screen door. I hung a sign and shelf on the remaining wall of doors.

The last furniture move I made was to angle the wardrobe and place a bookshelf behind it to create an endcap. I also got very brave and placed the rolling pin, Cricut vinyl, towel, or wine rack on top of the wardrobe.

The wardrobe now holds pieces that were previously on the rack like this vintage flashcard display.

Against the back of the wardrobe facing out to the aisle is a bookshelf filled with more fall vignettes. I like to place the decor in my booth into small vignettes so customers can see how to place it and use it in their home. In this fall display are fun rich colors. The canister set was a thrift flip. The wood canister set was purchased at a church rummage sale for just a couple of dollars.

I used paint and one of this season’s trends – mushrooms with a transfer from IOD.

In this neutral display I used a silver casserole carrier and a coffee table book as a riser for brass bells and pumpkins.

In this display I went all out in my favorite colors and created a pink and pastel green fall and Christmas display.

In moving the two large pieces of furniture I gained wall space to hang this display shelf. In and on it I made groupings of kitschy Christmas decor.

The holidays, particularly Christmas and Thanksgiving, are about gatherings and the food at those gatherings. On this drop leaf table I displayed different kitchen pieces. I bundled vintage Betty Crocker recipe cards in a recipe box, an apple pie sign, pie pans, blue ball jars and more.

  2. I love booth spaces. I visited a store in Myrtle beach area 10 years ago. We didn’t have a mall here in our town so l started one in 2020. It consisted of hand crafted items and vintage. Relatively small compared to many. I really wish l could do better with vendors.
