I have been eyeing the vintage man in the moon signs for my fall decor. I’ve seen them on Etsy, on Amazon and at a few craft stores but they were a bit too expensive for my budget. If these are out of your budget too, I have a simple process to DIY your own vintage man in the moon sign. This project doesn’t take a long time to create and is so easy. I am absolutely giddy with my moon man on my fall mantle. I know you will be too with your moon face sign!

Charity is obsessed with making cookies. Especially seasonal cookies. She goes all out for Christmas time and thought why not do the same for Halloween this year. So in today’s post she is going to share with all of us how to decorate Halloween cookies easily!

Meredith loves decorating for Halloween! And this year, she repurposed an old wood sign into a fun Hocus Pocus sign to add some festive farmhouse Halloween decor to my home. If you’re looking for a quick and easy way to add some Halloween cheer to your home, then this DIY project is for you!

Whimsical Home Projects From Our Features

Congratulations to our featured posts of Whimsy Home Wednesday! All the posts were beautiful, full of great ideas, and  we are so thankful to everyone who shared! This is why it was so difficult to pick just five Whimsical Home projects.

These are our featured posts! They will each receive a featured button to share on their blog and be added to the Whimsy Home Wednesday Pinterest boards!

  • Fresh Vintage by Lisa S shares an oyster shell craft. Lisa collected oyster shells and after washing noticed that their pretty and iridescent side had a similarity. To her each one had a spot that resembled a nativity manger. She finished this by using paint for a star and a baby Jesus. Beautiful!
  • WM Design has a quick and easy way to add some fall decor to your Thanksgiving table. Wendy shares a DIY cornucopia with rope project made with just a few materials and a little bit of time. With this DIY you can make your version of this traditional autumn harvest symbol for the holiday season.
  • Organized Island shares a fun way to celebrate Halloween in this post. Whether you’re hosting a Halloween party or just want to enjoy a cozy evening by the fire during the spooky season, this Halloween Hot Chocolate recipe is the perfect treat.
  • Twelve O Eight loves second chances, old discarded furniture and romantics who can’t stand the thought of a shred of history going to waste. (Just like me!) Tanya salvages a little cabinet that had been exposed to the elements for far too long on a covered porch and “fifth sparrow-s no more” it for a new life.

Guidelines for Whimsy Home Wednesday Blog Link Party No. 53!

▪ Link up to three family-friendly posts such as recipes, crafts, home decor, gardening, DIY, travel. No shop pages, sales, or business links. Link to a specific post that you have created or wrote, not your home page.

 ▪ We would appreciate sharing the link party love by including the Whimsy Home Wednesday graphic or a text link back to the party in your linked post.

▪ This is a party – go mingle! Please visit some of the other links and show them some love.

▪ By linking your blog posts on Whimsy Home Wednesday, you are giving the hostesses permission to use your images to showcase your post if you are chosen as a weekly feature. By posting you acknowledge that the content of your post is your own.

 ▪ DO NOT PIN FROM THE THUMBNAILS ON THIS PAGE (it just won’t work right on Pinterest). However, please visit the original post/source and pin from there. That works perfectly!

 ▪ Please make sure that your images are in a jpeg or png format. If we can’t save your image, we may not be able to feature you. So sad!

▪ We would love to connect with you! Please sign up for one of each host’s social media channels, follow our blogs and subscribe to our email lists or follow us on Pinterest.
